Die junge Fotografin Jes Jackson darf beim spannendsten und schönsten Moment einer Schwangerschaft mit dabei sein – sie fotografiert Geburten. Ihre Bilder sind voll Gefühl, nah am Geschehen und sehr, sehr intim. Zu intim für einige, wie es scheint. Denn die Fotographie eines Babies, das gerade geboren wird, stößt scheinbar einigen Usern sauer auf: Obwohl es nur einen kleinen Ausschnitt des Köpfchens zeigt, sperrte Instagram wenige Stunden nachdem sie das Bild hochgeladen hat, Jacksons Account. Das Foto wurde entfernt, doch Jackson lädt es immer wieder hoch – all die Aufregung wegen dem Gesicht eines Kindes, das die ersten Momente auf der Welt erlebt.

Jackson sei enttäuscht und wütend, sagt sie Cosmopolitan. Und weiter: „Wie kann sich tatsächlich jemand von dem Foto angegriffen fühlen, warum meldet es jemand? Ich kann nicht glauben, dass in der heutigen Zeit ein Baby-Köpfchen zensiert wird.“

Bekannt wurde die Australierin durch ihr Foto, das den Moment zeigt, in dem eine frischgebackene Mama erfährt, dass sie statt der erwarteten Tochter nun doch einen Sohn geboren hat.
