Katy Perry ist nun Mama einer Tochter geworden. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Freund Orlando Bloom verkündete die Sängerin die erfreulichen Nachrichten auf der Website von UNICEF.

Im März gab Katy Perry in ihrem Musikvideo zu „Never Worn White“ bekannt, ein Kind zu erwarten.

Katy Perry: Nicht jede Geburt verlauft friedlich

Dass Orlando und Katy nun Eltern geworden sind, gaben sie auf der Website von UNICEF bekannt. „Willkommen auf der Welt Daisy Dove Bloom“ ist dort zu lesen. Das Mädchen hört also auf den Namen Daisy Dove. Ein richtig schöner Name, wie wir finden, der übersetzt übrigens so viel wie „Gänseblümchen Taube Blühen“ heißt 😉

„Wir taumeln vor Liebe und über das Wunder, dass unsere Tochter gesund und sicher auf die Welt gekommen ist“, schrieben die überglücklichen, frischgebackenen Eltern. Ihnen sei bewusst, dass nicht jede Geburt auf der Welt so friedlich verlaufe, wie die ihrer Tochter. Sowohl Katy als auch Orlando sind UNICEF-Botschafter. Vielen Neugeborenen auf der Welt mangle es an Zugang zu Wasser, Seife, Impfstoffen und Medikamenten zur Vorbeugung von Krankheiten. Covid-19 habe die Lage noch verschlimmert. Als Eltern eines Neugeborenen breche ihnen dies das Herz. Zusätzlich veröffentlichten die Beiden das erste Babyfoto. Auf dem Bild ist auch ein Gänseblümchen auf dem Nagel von Katy zu sehen.

Für Katy ist das Mädchen übrigens das erste Kind. Orlando hat bereits einen Sohn mit Ex-Frau Miranda Kerr. Flynn ist neun Jahre alt. Katy und Orlando sind seit 2016 ein Paar. Seit Februar 2019 sind die beiden verlobt.
